Beauty Product Review: ELF Luscious Liquid Lipstick

Hello Beauties,
I have decided to dedicate this weeks blog posts to fabulous lip products that I cannot get enough of!  The first product I’m reviewing is the ELF Luscious Liquid Lipstick.  Yesterday, I decided to go to Walgreens just to browse around.  I mean, what else do you do on a sunday afternoon?  I was actually on the hunt for the Rimmel Wake me up Concealer, which I didn’t find in CVS or Ulta or Walgreens.  I know the foundation from the Wake Me up line is not available in the US, but they said that the concealer was.  According to online sites, Walmart and Kmart should carry the concealer.  These stores will be my next stop for those.
Disappointed again, I decided to go browsing through the store and maybe get some discounted Easter treats. As I was walking to the candy aisle, I found a little wall filled with one dollar items.  I usually don’t browse through these things because who needs a small pack of crayons and some miniature notebooks that I know I’ll end up losing just a few hours of buying it…
But, I didn’t have anything else planned for the day, so I decided I’ll look through the bins to kill some time.  Then I saw ELF products mixed in with the little knick knacks and I began to really search through these bins.  I found this Luscious Liquid Lipstick and decided to give it a try.  The color I bought was Baby Lips.
This lipstick was only a dollar!  And this lipstick really is luscious.  The liquid lipstick feels really rich on the lips and leaves my lips super soft, while giving them a hint of shine and color.  And it doesn’t give you a sticky feeling on  your lips like some other lip glosses and liquid lipsticks I’ve tried in the past.  The Baby lips color is the perfect color for the days you want to have a made up natural look.

The Baby lips color is a beautiful nude lip color!
The lipstick photographs really shiny, but in person the shininess is a little subtler.

At first, I was sort of hesitant about the packaging, the twisty tube and spongy applicator.  But now, I’m sold.  I actually love this more than those spongy wands that you usually get with lip glosses.
I seriously need to buy more of these, in all the colors they have!

What’s your favorite lip product?  And have a recommendation, leave it in the comments below!
