Parisian Style: How To

Hello Beauties,
I hope all of you are having a wonderful April! And if you guys are like me and finishing spring semester, I understand that you’re stressed and you’re tired and all you want to do is throw some clothes on in the morning, right?  But, then later in the day when you kind of, sort of, wake up…you look down and crap.  I look like crap, wearing my yoga pants and my t-shirt again.  So, this makes it the third day?  No, fourth day in a row that I have not dressed myself for success.  I dressed for sleep and failure.

But I think I found the solution to my problems in the morning.  I found a way to easily look chic and effortless.  How do you ask?  Parisian style.  This style has graced the most fashionable streets and covered the fashion magazines from cover to cover.  There are only a few rules to follow and trust me, you can do it with your eyes half closed in the morning.

First step
Pick a t-shirt or a tank top
Second step
Layer a blazer or any structured jacket over your top. (Or if it’s too hot, skip this step.)
Third step
Add a pair of jeans (distressed or classic), pants, shorts, skirt, or maybe even a dress underneath your top (whatever works!)
**Here’s a little cheat: skip the first two steps and just throw on a maxi dress, instant glamour!**
Fourth step
Don’t forget the shoes.  Try heels, flats, sneakers, boots, or sandals.
Fifth step
Accessorize with a scarf or a simple necklace, a pair of earrings, a watch or a bracelet, maybe some rings?
Don’t overdo it!

The key to Parisian style is simplicity!
